Flockaveli (Berber (Marinid) 1244-1319AD) defeats Kroche (Hebrews 681-586 BC) 54-29
The Hebrews made a poor tactical decision in not inventing fully-armored knightly lancers by 586 BC
Well played to Kroche

Aetius39 (Scots-Irish) defeats Rosedelio (Italian Guelf) 61-47
Very tough, close game where the Irish were lucky enough to have some forest and rough in the map on their side. The knights were devastating when in open one on one, and they caught several poor Irish, but many were brought down by flanks and ganging up on them through shear numbers. Still, the Italian crossbowmen would simply tear the Irish to bits if they were in the open, even in rough. The Irish numbers, terrain, and some luck helped bring them to a narrow victory in the end. Thanks for the great game!

Finally a win !
devoncop Aragonese 1-05AD beat Aeneas Stator Polish 1155AD by 46-18 with victories on both flanks outweighing a collapse in the Aragonese centre.
Thanks for a tough fight.

SnuggleBunnies (Pyrrhic) defeats Karvon (Spanish) 46-8
A tricky match trying to pin down an almost entirely cavalry army with a mostly infantry force.
GG
SnuggleBunnies (Navarrese) draws with devoncop 27-8
I bunkered down due to my shortage of missile troops. Devon attempted several probing attacks that met with ambushes, being too wily to fully commit himself. Once his probes had been destroyed or withdrawn, he attempted to lure me towards forests infested with lights and Irregular Foot, backed by horse archers in the open. I declined his kind invitation and we called it a day.

Rosedelio (Italian Hill Tribe) defeats rbodleyscott (Kushan) 52-26
After getting trampled by cataphracts and elephants, the Italian Foot eventually surrounded and swarmed them. That along with light javs trapping and pelting the Nomad Horse Archers won the day.

A glorious knightly charge sweeping away the Ptolemaic left flank couldn't save the squishy center of squishy massed archers from getting squished

Aetius (Gallic) defeats DanZanzibar (Carthaginians) 58-14
Closer, fiercer, and more intense than the score suggests, a bloody clash where the Gauls had to grind down the superior spears to rout them. GG and thanks for playing!

An interesting puzzle trying to pry the Illyrian medium foot out of rough ground.

62 Kroche Thracian 680-461 BC defeats rbodleyscott Numidian or Moorish 220-56 BC
Thracian spears had the edge over the Phoenician foot. Numidian elephants looked like they could turn the tide, but melted away after being hit by some peltast missiles.
Battle was right to the last few turns. Thanks for the game.
