Relevance of FOG2 v1.5.33 Open Beta to Digital League
(Pete, if you want to move this to the Rally Point fine. I thought it might be worth giving it an initial airing in its own thread).
The forthcoming v1.5.33 of FOG includes two important things for MP, obviously including the digital league.
1) Fixed bug that in certain circumstances could result in the MP replay playing out unresolved melees in a different order, resulting in different results.
2) In MP Custom Battles the second player will no longer get a move on his first turn, just force selection and deployment like the first player. This is so that if the game goes to the turn limit both players will have had the same number of turns. The Turn Limit has not been increased.
Before we bring out a new version, we beta test it.
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 7&t=102082
The beta was announced on 4th November, but as yet we have had no feedback whatsoever. Perhaps that means that there are no issues, but without feedback we have no idea whether anyone has tested MP in v1.5.33, and until we do, we are reluctant to release the update. (With its important bug fix)
So please guys, test the Open Beta, or if you already have, tell us what you have tested. And obviously tell us if there were issues, but equally important tell us if there weren't.
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 7&t=102433
So we can get the fixes out to the release version as soon as possible.

Re: kraff has won Classical Antiquity Division C!
Thank you very much!
I have never played the Numidian army before this DL season. It turned out to be a very capable army with some very resilient units, although it lacks superior quality troops. Very challenging Division with some very tense battles (especially the last one). A big thank you to all participants for the games. Good luck to you all in the next season!

Darkwater247 - Samnite 355-272 BC with Gallic 300-101 BC allies defeats SSB - Roman 199-106 BC with Pergamene 262-191 BC allies 63-25
The score doesn't reflex the game, Until the last few turns it could have gone to either side, I think the deciding factor was splitting the Romans up a little as they chased chariots. Thank you for the game SSB
