You will notice a few players in the league tables who have not yet posted a result. They are either players who have exemptions from the first Time Control check because they are playing in the Themed Event, or they have posted enough results in other sections to show me that they will complete their matches on time. A lancer match up, The samatian had the better lancers on paper, and I was worried I had over spent on skirmishers (I had alot). Luck was with me though and I won more 1 v 1 lancers fights than I should have, the sarmatians flanking units couldn't get into the battle before the end (another turn or two and they would have been behind my lines routing me). Luck was indeed with me this day!. Thankyou Pepe for the game.

Wow this was a close game, the lancers managed to take care of the lesser units, but once the bigger boys arrived it was a hard fought slog. Some great banter throughout the game, and we both commented on how great the FOG2 online community is!
