Classic game of each army breaking one side, and racing to try and collapse the other first. The Greeks broke through the Gallic left, but equally the Gauls smashed through their own left. A combination of luck and the fact the Greeks moved a few reserve units to help the left, stopped total destruction (there was a point mid-game where the Greek general thought things were going really bad). Rob played fantastically, and the Gauls stubbornly held out for a very long time. Thanks for the great game!^^

After initial British success, Dailami were able to crawl back, success on the flanks and multiple rallies of routed troops evened the score at the end. A lucky rout of a cavalry unit got the Dailami over the hump before the British finished off the job.

Byzantine arrows did alot of work in the early going, but once the lines made contact a stale mate ensued. One elephant unit ended up rolling the line up and delivering victory to the Dailami.
