Division C
edb1815 (Arab City w Sassanid allies) defeated Garokan (Bosporan w Roman allies) 57% - 32%
The Sassanid ally elephants were key in this one as the initial Bosporan cavalry charge was held at bay while the Arab infantry manage to win the race to a hill which helped them hold off the more superior but less numerous Romans. Roman auxila, archers and less well trained legions were despached and the remaining Roman infantry surrounded while the lancers were defeated on one flank. A sort of mini Adrianople. Well played thanks for the game.

Division D
random27 - Viking (Ireland) 900-1049 AD with Scots 851-1051 AD allies beat rs2excelsior - German 888-932 AD 46-21
Too many horses in german camp , the vikings took an hill on their right and were more numerous than german infantry , that was enough to take a quick victory , but if the battle has gone deeper , german cavalry may have changed the story
Well played , rs2excelsior , german is my favorite army in the game (i took them in last season , and it s difficult to let cavalry out out of the game , their lack of mediums is a problem too , but CAVALRY )

Division A
Macedonczyk (Andalusian 756 -1049) defeated Harveylh - Frankish 751-887 AD with Croatian 625-849 AD 40:12
Favorable terrain (hills and forest) helped to block the encirclement by the opponent's horses on my left wing, although there was not much to break through.
In the center my best units fought not very effectively.
The right wing, which was on a large hill (100m difference), had to resist the brave Frankish attacks.
To sum up, I won because I had probably the most favorable map of my games in this edition.

kraff (Ghaznavid 962-1187 AD) defeated bomber23 (Arab (Conquest) 638-684 AD): 62-44.
We were going neck to neck for the most part of the battle, and I really had to fight hard in this one to overcome the advantage bomber23 had with his superior Veteran Muslim Spearmen. Thank you for the game.

angel42052 (Dabuyid 642-760 AD) defeats wellsonian (Byzantine 988-1041 AD) 42 - 16
Had a lot of trouble with his Varangian Guard. I haven't seen a better unit in the game. He handled those troops particularly well.

Division A
Nijis (Indians) defeats Triarii (Bosporans) 68-33.
The Bosporan infantry advanced cautiously to meet the Indian elephants in the center and look set to grind them down as their artillery picked off unengaged tuskers and the auxiliaries advanced along the flanks, but the unlucky death of a general opened up a gap and the behemoths, accompanied by lancers, crashed through. The battle swayed back and forth, but in the end the chaotic conditions allowed the elephants to crash through the flanks of enough units to make the difference.
