A long sloping hill with a decent amount of rough terrain proved an ideal spot to bunker down my longbows while my heavy weapon foot could go toe-to-toe with much of his cavalry while my light noble cavalry outflanked. His Dailami veterans proved a great menace to my flank though, making mincemeat out of my light spear and heavy weapon equipped infantry. Well-played.

A very close game in a 'jungle' themed board. A marsh and rough ground in the middle, and rough and jungle at the sides.
A lot of movement at the start, one side to the other. I managed to get most of my MF and LF in Marsh and rough, hoping to ping
his cavalry and elephants. Brave Kraff then launched an assault that should have won him the game. Elephants through the centre
crushing my infantry, and some unfortunate Knights. I had some good (from my point of view) rallies, bagged an elephant, then got
another one at the end to win the game. Though one more turn and the game was Kraffs.

The armies ran for a large hill with the Roman spin-offs mostly getting there first and the Jewish irregulars forming an orderly queue (traffic jam), the zealots scrapped on the hill while the skirmishers shot all the horses in preparation for the post-battle buffet and the irregulars slowly looped round. the Jewish army was a wreck by the end but sheer numbers kept them going against the remaining enemy elites, thanks for the game and the chat.
