The battle was a true brawl located between a river and a rough high hill occupied by Bohemian troops. Most of the fight took place on 8 tiles wide battlefield. Good game!

The Serbians came with a combined force of massed archers and lots of cavalry. The Portugese brought a mixed force which was always going to struggle against so many mounted troops. Joggy did a good job of pinning my centre and then moving rapidly against my left wing. My poor knights were swamped and chased off the field quite rapidly. Their sacrifice was not in vain. Whilst the Serbians gloried in their victory, chasing down my troops the Portugese spearmen were crushing the archers. Lots of skirmishing brought down a few more units and a few rallies kept one unit of my knights alive. When my camel lancers finally arrived somewhee useful they were devastating against the medium cavalry hunting my flanks. It was all very desperate at the end and the 60 mark was acheived when I chased some cavalry off the board. A cracking game where the Serbain cavalry was about to kill me at the end.
