Division C
Holien (Chinese (Jin) 317-420 AD) defeated Delbruck (Beidi - Sixteen Kingdoms 304-439 AD) 62-42
The battle was (is as the other is still ongoing) fought over a long central hill that favoured the Chinese initial deployment. In both games the action is taking place on the left of the hill where the Beidi Cav have some room to move. In this game the weight of Archery and Cav battle swung to the Chinese but each turn the % figures for each side were up and down as the melee swirled back and forth. A close game and what a friendly and open opponent, thank you for the in game chat.

joggy has won Late Antiquity Division B!
I think this is probably the most commanding performance ever! Not only has joggy (aka "The Whirlwind") won all 9 matches with his Germanic Horse Tribes and Dacian allies in Late Antiquity Division B, but he has done it in a little over 3 weeks. Well played joggy!

Division D
Kerait (Ghurid) defeats Barrold713 (Aragonese) 41-16
The battlefield was split roughly into two halves. One side was a highland featuring patches of rough terrain, the other an open plain wedged between a river, a forest and the aforementioned highland.
On the plain, the Aragonese spearmen, knights and crossbowmen advanced against a line of Ghurid spearmen. From a shoulder of hills behind the melee, the crossbows poured bolts on the poor Ghurid infantry, who just about held on. Their only objective was to hold the line until reinforcements from the highland could come to their aid.
On the highland, the Ghurids overcame Almugavars by utilising cheap Indian lancers as blocking units against the dangerous Almugavar impact foot and then bombarding the Catalans to death with the ubiquitous Indian arrow bonanza. Just as the Ghurid army on the plain was starting to collapse, the Ghurids swept in from the highland and flanked the Aragonese, winning the game.
As usual, elephants did a good job of smashing up knights. Good game to Barrold713!
