Morat (German) beat kraff - (Ghurid/Indian) 60-41

Germans arrived with lots of spears and crossbows, and not much by the way of cavalry to cope with a mixed foot, horse and elephant foe.

After initial manoeuvring, Ghurids loaded up on their left flank and their elephants caused real problems for the Germans, - horses fleeing and foot struggling to hold up. Germans did better on the Ghurid right and with the aid of some stout hand to hand infantry fighting just manged to see their opponents off.

What a great match and a really friendly opponent. Went to 20 turns. a Sea-saw battle which could have gone either way. The raw legions showed that cost is no indicator of value. The cataphracts were useless, why did i even bother to buy them! A nail bitter to the end - well played osarius stick with the army it's a lot tougher than you thought!
