Pete you absolute legend your hard work brought joy to so many here. I think I'm a fairly young man by the standards of this community but feel enriched for all the games I've played and great folk I've chatted with in these tournaments through high and low in the past few years. Amazing to see a multiplayer community with respect, honour and (probably most importantly) a sense of humour about things. A merry Christmas to you and all the others who put your time and patience into getting this to run smoothly. I will remember it very very fondly.

Many thanks, Pete, for putting your time and energy into this during such a long time! The DL has been a forum within the forum, gathering and uniting players seeking to play competitively in an organised way, and you've managed and developed the DL splendidly. Take care and best wishes for the future.

Thanks a lot for all the effort in the organisation of this tournament, one of the best that I have ever seen on a Forum. I hope that it goes on the future at least with another format.

Best wishes for you and congratulations for the great work :)

Thanks for all the hard work you have put in over the years, sad news that you are calling it a day but completely understandable. The DL will be sorely missed.

Unfortunately I had succumbed to slow play on the last couple matches, but really wished that I could finish strong!
Thank you for the organization and for the opportunity to play! The dl is awesome, and you as well Stockwell, for organizing it!

Pete, I well understand the thankless task of diligent administration but know that you and your Digital League efforts will be sorely missed.
Thank you very much for this exceptional gaming experience. Good luck and good gaming to you!

Thank you for all your hard work Pete. Your tournament has been one of the best of the best, and I'll never forget how much fun I had joining it for the first time and meeting all the excellent players you've brought together. Enjoy your retirement. :)

Indeed, a sad day for digital wargamers. Pete, I only wish it was a paid position that could entice you to further develop multiplayer tournament and campaign systems.

A tragic day but also one to cap off a golden era (though I only experienced its latter days)!

Thank you for your hard work, Pete, and good luck with your future projects!

Thank you very much for the massive and highly successful hard work. You contributed mightily to the FOGII fun factor. It is sad to see this go, but nothing lasts forever. Good luck to you going forward.

Very sad to hear this news as the DL was one of the main reasons that keeps me playing FOG 2.

Anyway many thanks Pete (and the others working behind the scenes) for all the great work you have put in to make this tournament what it is.

Oh no what sad news! As many have already said, it must have been a time-consuming, fairly thankless job at all the administrative stuff. We all appreciated tremendously, and even if the DL survives in another form, or if someone else takes over the reins, you will be remembered for how smooth, fair, fun, great, and entertaining it was during that time the many years you hosted it. Thanks again for everything you have done!^^
