I thought that the enemy lancers would sweep away my medium foot and even said so in chat. Many turns later, my numbers and the helpful terrain had come to my rescue in a very tough game for both sides.

paulmcneil Gepids defeats XLegione Byzantines 60:56 longest, closest game I've had in a while. No Gepid Generals left alive, resorted to beating Byzantines over the head with their severed legs, game tipped at the end by the breaking of a Light Inf archer unit by a light inf javelin unit, that had been at it with each other for 6 turns. Brutal.

ruskicanuk (Ptolemaic 166-56BC) defeats klayeckles (Achaemenid Persian 419-329BC) 60-40. klayeckles handles an ancient army like Rommel - very mobile and dangerous. Watch your lines and look out for his cav! Good game, this was one of the most dynamic I've played.
