Division A
harveylh - Sassanid Persian 591-628 AD defeats ruskicanuk - Arab (City) 300-633 AD 49-0
Terrain really made it difficult for the Arabs as about one third of the map was an impassible mountain. The remainder of the battlefield had significant woods and rough terrain. This hampered the deployment of both the Arab HI and lancers. Terrain also made it hard for the Persians to deploy, but the Persians had Dailami Guardsmen to control the rough terrain and elephants to dominate the limited open terrain. Combine that with some early bad luck on bowfire for the Arabs and it was not pretty.

The second Time Control check is today!
We are at the half-way stage now and players should have posted three results in each division they are playing in. There are some players who haven't managed this and they will be getting a PM from me shortly. I think everyone is still playing though. I am not aware of anyone who has actually stopped. And, if this is the case, then this has been the best season so far with only one player dropping out from the original 70+ starters.

Division D
Herode (Soissons) defeats Blobka (Pictish) : 58/27
A close and hard fight, even if the final odds do not show it clearly (that's often the result of cumulative frags/routs after the 'breaking' point has been reached)
Thanks for the game and good luck for the next ones !
