The Bedouin made initial headway with superior use of their skirmishers, but were unable to take advantage due to the vast number of infantry the city dwellers were able put into the field.

Good Game to my opponent. Those infernal horse armies! I can see how the (late) Roman's historically ran into trouble. Roman Cav gets quickly overwhelmed, and the enemy horse can just evade legion infantry ad infinita… I even managed to force at least 3 of his Cav units to 'fall back' off the map...and they All came back a few turns later (sigh)

@Jjaquemond: high five mate, it was a good game indeed! I had to step back from the legion around turn 20 because obviously horse archers are poor logisticians, but I still I believe I could have won killing 7 legionaries per turn, for 700 turns.
