However if the poll is inconclusive/equally split how about applying the rule for those in Divs A and B as long as they remain in Divs A and/or B?
I don't think there are many votes to come in now so I don't see a 50/50 split likely, although I do like the idea as a Plan B. I am very surprised (not in a good way) at the result of this poll.

Pete I think there are a lot of players that did not play the earlier digital leagues and that has influenced the vote. I think if you did the vote again in a few seasons time the vote will be what you expected. Will you have a poll to see if it will be introduced in Div A and B?

No, I don't think so. I am not convinced that the result would be any different.

Division A

ruskicanuk - Romano-British 407-599 AD narrowly defeats Nosy_Rat - Hunnic Western 376-454 AD, 61 - 57

Nosy_Rat deserved to win this playing brilliantly and attacking early with his horse-army but the Romano-British numbers are too forgiving. The score indicates that it was an effective tie.

Division A

ruskicanuk - Romano-British 407-599 AD defeats nyczar - Scots-Irish 50 BC - 476 AD, 43 - 11

this was a very interesting battle, both generals wheeled their armies around the flank of the other in a kind of dance move. The tail of the dance flanks floundered for both armies but the Scots' weaker flank was hit a little harder and faster yielding a quick victory. A few more turns probably would have made it a tighter finish.

Division B

Triarii - Kingdom of Soissons 461-486 AD beats rexhurley - Numidian/Moorish 220-56 BC 45 - 11

I can only apologise to Rex for game this where if anything at all (and I really mean at all) could go wrong for the Numidians it did. It started with a really awful map for Numidians - a river ran through it but very few woods grew there and divided the map perfectly for the Roman infantry. The unbroken Roman line had HI follow up paths that were long and/or twisting repeatedly catching evading lights, Nellie the only elephant pursued straight into the jaws of two flank attacks while at least two and possibly three fragmented raw Roman Limitati had not had their deficiencies properly explained to them and stood up repeated attacks.
Although it is often frustrating to play against skirmishing lists this can only have been frustrating using them. thanks to Rex for putting up with it.
