Separate Attack Order (especially for Melee)

I would like to reiterate my request for a separate attack order for units. I just had another frustrating experience in multiplayer with simultaneous turns. I wanted to attack with my warboss but when I hovered over the enemy unit it showed me that an attack order would let him move into range two to shoot his rockets (range 1 was not blocked by anything). So I had to move into melee range first to be able to use his very strong attack and 1shot the enemy unit. Alas the enemy had waited the whole turn for my move to just move the unit 1 tile behind exactly at the same moment and then fire at the warboss. So now my warboss could not do any damage and was exposed and it felt like playing an RTS with slow units. A separate attack order would either enable me to actually move and attack before the enemy can react to the movement or cancel the useless movement when the target disappears from the tile I wanted to attack.
