They answered me a few turns later with the surprising response. It just happened to me with the Sarmatians. But twice, so I've stopped negotiating with them. I'm using the latest version of the game.

The screenshots have been taken of the files that I always keep before the step of each turn, so it is impossible for me to have made any changes to the transaction shown in turn 151, as it is thus saved just before the move to the next turn. I always make sure that whoever's going to pay me has money. (Even in real life, ha,ha) And this is the capture of the turn in which they respond, in which they still had money (1500+30) more than enough for their share of the 1120 gold deal.
