Is there something wrong?they should be the mercenary hoplites when export in the fog2 I think, and in some fog2's army lists they do have around 310bc and post times.

You probably need to post this in the Fog II forum as the developer there will need to answer as he decides how this works.

Are they not described in Empires as Medium infantry in the unit description ?

If so then Theueophoroi would be accurate.

Ueda-Sarson's interpretation, which we believe is correct, is that most of the mercenaries in Alexander's army were lightly-equipped Iphicratean-style hoplites, rather than traditional hoplites or peltasts. These Iphicratean-style hoplites then evolved into thureophoroi in the armies of the Diadochi. So whether they are Iphicratean-style hoplites or thureophoroi in 310 BC, they are better represented as thureophoroi than as mercenary heavy infantry hoplites.

Thanks for the answer, now I think maybe the empire should unified the correct unit models as fog2 in game.
