Madaxeman.com moves to Dubai & The UAE
Right folks, as of this weekend Central London Wargames Club will have a new satellite outpost in sunny (oh yes) Dubai, as I shift out there for about 3 years on Saturday. This is a posting with my real job - the various commercial activities on my website haven't turned me into a tax exile just yet.
The whole lead collection will follow (with Mrs Madaxeman) later in the year, and I will hopefully make an appearance at Britcon each year, and maybe a few more comps if I get convenient work trips back that are close to the right weekends.
I've managed to track down 2 gamers out there (one of whom is on this list in Abu Dhabi already), so only one more needed to get a team together for the ITC (!!) and also before we can host an inaugural "Dubai Desert Classic"
www.Madaxeman.com will also keep going, although with more reports on friendlies in various periods than competitions, and probably a lot of photos of figures taken in bright daylight against sandy backgrounds.
If anyones business or leisure does take them out to the UAE drop me a line - and if anyone wants to buy any authentic basing materials for their Arab armies I am planning on setting up a small mail order business as a sideline.... !

las, I fear that the RCN will not be sending me your way in the forseeable unless you can persude the International Congress of Nurses to hold their annual jolly there (unlikely if Islamic law restricts booze).
However, I think you should now join the IWF - you'll have more players than Botswana
