Whilst preparing for the influx of lists Andy has spotted that the details on the GamesExpo give 850pts and the BHGS site 800pts,since (I suspect)most of you havn't sent them in yet,

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
No problem at all with 850 points.
Not everyone is active on the forum though so it might be prudent to ask Tim / BHGS to email all FoGAM entrants that we have an extra 50 points to play with?
Cheers

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
Could i please be added to the list, for some reason my name didn't go through when Richard booked us on so Richard is currently sitting with two entries on his name and none on mine

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
Sorry - it's been pointed out to me that this is just the list of the people who have "bought" tickets, so some of the '+1s' and umpirey types are currently missing... we'll try and dig out the full data asap.RSDPIT wrote:Could i please be added to the list, for some reason my name didn't go through when Richard booked us on so Richard is currently sitting with two entries on his name and none on mine

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
Paint a couple of extra pips on your commander in chief's epaulettes and make him an IC

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
Just printed my ticket off for the Challenge and it looks like we have 26 players entered.
Stats on the other periods suggests that the new venue may not have gone down too well with quite a few tickets still available. Or is it out of date?

Re: CHALLENGE POINTS
We will actually have a year-on-year increase in player numbers across those periods and systems we are running this year.petedalby wrote:Just printed my ticket off for the Challenge and it looks like we have 26 players entered.

The difference year on year is down to the non returning DBM'ers (who all decided en-mass that they didn't fancy the NEC .. who'd have thought DBM players were the kind of people who are unwilling to embrace change huh? ), the loss of FoW (which seems to be struggling generally at the moment as the new version appears to not to be going down all that well) as well as Blucher and FoGR. Also, some of the list checkers and umpires don't appear on the UKGE booking site numbers.
In detail FoGAM and DBMM are both down a smidge, ADLG up a smidge, MeG up a smidge when transferees from FoGR are included, and a very good turnout for Saga whilst the other events are all about par.
By the looks of it there will be almost 1,000 other gamers in the same hall as us, playing about a dozen different miniatures and card-based games so plenty of people to hopefully convert to the one true religion of historical gaming !
