How did you find that out Pete?
I just blundered around the UKGE website when I was printing out my ticket and there it was.

PS - I am not using Yuan Chinese - but I was tempted. Time for a change.

The bedouins should have lances, the nomads should have bows. Does that help?

Come on guys - sort it out - the deadline was the 27th May. It's not fair on Andy - I'm sure he's got better things to do.

Hi guys

I'm afraid Paul Johnston and myself will no longer be able to make it this weekend due to work commitments.

If anyone wants to utilise our tickets for the event/show please let me know.

Well that's a real shame guys - you will both be missed. You really need to get your priorities sorted though.

Looking at my predictions:
Andy Ellis Feudal Castillian -- Is this the version with the elephants?
Jon Akers Kofun Nara -- YAY
Peter Card Imperial German -- Same as Teutonic - hence Yay
Paul Bartlett Medieval Castillian -- No different to Portugese
Terry Shaw Late Ottoman Turk -- Yay
Graham Evans Western Han Chinese -- Yay
Paul Longmore Late Ottoman Turk -- Yay
Linda Fairhurst Han Chinese -- If I'd known Lynda was playing I would have said Han Chinese
Graham carroll Late Ottoman Turk -- Boo
Steve Brown Later Macedonian -- Boo
David Putt Later Macedonian -- Boo
Steve Murton Late Ottoman Turk -- Boo
Chad Pillinger Han Chinese -- Dammitt
Dave Morrisson Early Successor -- Curses
Graham Briggs EAP -- Boo
Malcolm Gordan Carolingian -- Assyrian would have been better
Dino Monticoli Medieval Crown of Aragon -- Boo
John Patrick Free Company -- Boo
David Fairhurst UMPIRE EAP -- Boo
Pete Dalby Medieval Portugese -- Pardon?
Phil Powell Ghazanavid -- I was correct
Derek Bartlett Mayan - Pardon?
Dave Ruddock Early Ottoman Turk -- I was correct
Roger Pitfield Western Han Chinese

Yays to the Right = Eight
Boos to the Left = Ten
Abstentions = Six

Thus concludes the deliberations of the Early Ottoman Jury

An unusual choice for you too Dave. I don't think I've ever seen an Early Ottoman taken to a competition. Doesn't that normally get described as 'girlie shooty army' by you?
