Well done Steve - great to see that we're up to 24 entries with a good mix of armies.

Re: Warfare 2019
Hopefully many of you are already aware, but there are major roadworks on the M4 this weekend. The M4 is fully closed between junctions 6 to 8/9 from 8pm Friday 15th November to 6am Monday 18th November - yes the entire weekend (they are replacing a bridge, which would be quite cool to watch if you are an engineering nerd, but you can't get to it because the M4 is closed ).
Please factor this in to your travel plans!
See you all on Saturday morning,
Tim Child

Re: Warfare 2019
Also, we have had a dropout, Jon, so have odd numbers. I am not trying to lure anyone away from their favourite game syatem, but we do happen to also be odd in the FOGR. It would resolve the bye issue in both if anyone were interested in moving into the Rennaissance? I have of course also made the same suggestion on their forum!

Re: Warfare 2019

Re: Warfare 2019
I have asked our Tournaments co-ordinator whether we still have any active reserves, but he didn't think so? Is anyone in contact with Brian? It is very short notice ...

Re: Warfare 2019
Terry won, Graham Evans 2nd & Paul Bartlett 3rd. Some numpty who made some poor decisions in his final game came 4th.
Another great weekend of wargaming though and 4 cracking games vs Craig, Steve M, Steve B & Terry - thank guys.
I thought Graham chose a very interesting theme with a good mix of viable armies.
Thanks to everyone else involved in the organisation. Ascot is already on the calendar for next year.

Re: Warfare 2019
I thought you had it in the bag when we left, unprotected bow beating up huscarls and all that. Must have been a very poor decision

Oh yes - big time. You can read all about it when I get around to writing up my AARs.
