CANCELLED - HUBCON 2020

Just heard from the organizer that HUBCON 2020 is cancelled. The FOG Average Joe Tournament will be moved to Cold Iron VI, February 27-28, 2021. See the tournament posting for details.


On September 12-13, 2020, the Gulf Coast Championship series will return to HUBCON in Hattiesburg, MS, with another round of the FOG Average Joe Tournament.

Tournament Rules and Format
*Table size will be 4x6.
*Each round will be 3 hours plus 1d6 of random time. When time is called, players will finish the current phase.
*Round 1 will start at 9 AM on Sep 12 or shortly thereafter
*V3 rules and current FAQ from BHGS website will be used.
*We will use the 100 point ADLG scoring method for round by round results.
*1 list, 800 points.
* Any list from the list below is allowed but only the "Average Joes" may participate, i.e., no Superior, Elite or Poor troops are allowed. Highest ranking general allowed is an FC. (No Inspired Commanders allowed).[/list]

*Tournament fee is $5 paid to the referee.
*Prizes will be offered for top 3 finishers.

The University of Southern Mississippi is scheduled for a home football game that weekend so hotel rooms may go fast. There is no hotel associated with the Con but there are 15 hotels located at the Hardy Street exit of I-59 within a short drive to the Con site.

Tournament and convention will be held in the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center Annex, 962 Sullivan Dr, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
