Hi,

The garrison of a besieged region will respawn if it dies when you order it to leave the city and meet the attackers. This works if you keep another unit(s) inside the city walls. Steps to replicate the bug:

Turn 1: Garrison a single unit (or multiple) inside your walls of a region.

Turn 2: Have someone attack the region and put it under siege.

Turn 3: Leave the city walls with your garrison and confront the attacker, but do not order the other unit(s) to leave the walls.

Turn 4: If your garrison army was defeated, it will have respawned inside the city walls, allowing you to repeat step 3 ad infinitum. This can be repeated until the enemy decides to storm your walls, leaves, or is defeated by your garrison that leaves.

This bug can be quite powerful especially if you have a strong defended city such as Latinum or Athens. In addition, if the besieged army had suffered effectiveness loss from the siege, it will also regenerate to full health after it respawns.

Maybe it's not infinite, it may use the weapon stock of the town. Once there are no more weapons, there are no more leavy to be equiped?

It's definitely infinite and I'm sure it's a bug because what I described is not mentioned anywhere.

You are speaking of the automatically generated units that respawn, right? And you maintain a 'regular' unit within the wall?
