Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
The third DLC of the Axis Operations series, 1940, is now available.
Axis Operations 1940 covers the pivotal year of 1940, in which you will lead the Wehrmacht in several stunning blitzkrieg offensives against Scandinavia, the Low Countries, Belgium, France, and even an optional "what-if" invasion of England.
Play through the 19 scenarios of the branching campaign and experience new features such as the new training scenarios, or see the return of Axis Operations recurring mechanics like the Commendations system or the Nemesis system. Prepare to meet historical characters like Erwin Rommel and Charles De Gaulle, and take command of plenty new units, including experimental prototypes never seen before in other games.
You can find more information on the DLC's product page.
We're releasing a new bundle containing all the Axis Operations DLCs released so far at a nice discount. You can find it here.
Furthermore, Panzer Corps 2 and its DLCs are currently discounted as part of our Holiday Sale. You can find more information on the sale here.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
Is this DLC included in the Field Marshal Edition?
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
The Field Marshal Edition only included the first two Axis Operations DLCs, Spanish Civil War and 1939. It doesn't include 1940 and it needs to be bought separately.

I think that it should be "This DLC installer requires the base game (Panzer Corps 2) to be updated to at least v1.01.14..." (v1.01.13 was a beta)

Lelystad 1940??
I had a good laugh today, thank you.
The latest DLC for Pz Corps 2 1940 shows Lelystad and the polder surrounding it…that’s a joke yes? Lelystad and the whole province of Flevoland in the Polder was still part of the IJsselmeer and did not exist in 1940….. That dyke between Lelystad and the North of Holland did not exist. you are probably confusing it for the dyke connecting North Holland to Friesland. (Does Kornwederzand ring a bell?) . I hope this is not exemplary for the historical research you do.. What happened? Did someone build the expansion on a download from google maps? It would also explain why Amsterdam shows it current boundaries and double the size as it was in the 1940’s .. Just google ( I know you can do that) ; Nederland 1940 kaart and you’ll find some usefull maps.. You can do better than this. maybe a patch is in order?
Have a good weekend.

This was found and addressed a while ago while it was still in BETA testing. What image are you looking at exactly?Hollander wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 10:51 pm I had a good laugh today, thank you.

Fair enough. But inside the actual game, rest assured this has been addressed:Hollander wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 11:51 pm The image that was shown on the sliterine Website after I received an E-mail from Slitherine that 1940 is available..

As always, we are reading and listening to your feedback. Many thousands of posts and messages have greatly improved Panzer Corps 2 for its entire playerbase, and we encourage you to continue to share your thoughts and wants for the game into the future!
In fact, when some eagle eyed community members spotted a bit of an issue with Holland in an earlier screenshot, we made it a priority to make sure it's going to get adjusted while the campaign continues to be put through testing...
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
Hello all. I've played a first few scenarios and I'm really enjoying the new content so far. Focus on paratrooper combat is absolutely great as I've almost always passed on this option. I'm also grateful for the option to level up infantry fast. Been waiting for ages to take my IL2 and KV-2 from AO 1939 for a ride .
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
I downloaded the Axis Operations 1940 and installed it. I am getting the following error
Preloadscreenmovieplayer plugin not found
What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1940 is out
This sounds like an incomplete installation issue. Reinstalling the game might help.
Also: could you please post the screenshot of this error your are getting?
