Chat screen not working in multiplayer?

Hi there,
Don't know if it's just me, but since the last update, seem to be unable to use chat screen to communicate to other players, in both private matches and the tourney!
Type a message, and it seems to go ok, but when the game turn comes back, there's nothing there!
Am I doing something wrong?

They can't get MP chat to work for a couple of patches.
