We are mostly staying true to the original maps in Panzer Corps 1. Some maps have been altered in size slightly and to also improve the geography to be more accurate.o_t_d_x wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 8:59 am I think he means bigger maps, with bigger "cards". Fall blau should give room for bigger maps.
Btw: in moscow 41 i thought the non active russian tanks are the fresh far east reinforcements. What a painful suprise, when the real far east army arrived...had a very realistic battle for moscow scenario then. High losses.

Thank you for continuing the adventure
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
In fact, I meant the larger maps.@tpoo.
I just wish for a little more variety, space or unexpected 2 or 3 waves of attackers. Otherwise it is very entertaining and I also recognize the effort that goes into it, thanks for that. A bug; On the map of Reims, a "German Char B1", Camo, is attacking me in round 6, near Bazancourt?

Can we have at the same time ORiginal DLcs and also DLCs (PZC 1)? Im testing Danzig corridor. I have to say this is ...great work !!!! I love it. I dont undertsan why you rotate the map? I mean the DANZIG city and GDynia should be upper like geographical direction in this case NORTH. Please answer.

The way the hexes are laid out was rotated 90 degrees in Panzer Corps 2 compared to Panzer Corps 1.calmhatchery wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 12:29 pm Can we have at the same time ORiginal DLcs and also DLCs (PZC 1)? So they had the choice between keeping the maps pretty much identical but rotated 90 degrees, or do their best to make a custom map similar enough despite the 90% rotated hexes.
They did the first option for the first couple Grand Campaign segments, but I think they are shifting to doing more custom maps that keep the north in the north going forward. But I could be wrong on that.

Yes, the maps for GC1941 and beyond are redrawn with the correct orientation and some custom updates and geography corrections, but generally the same for the most part as the original maps. GC1942 is getting close to being completed.Stormchaser wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 5:11 pmThe way the hexes are laid out was rotated 90 degrees in Panzer Corps 2 compared to Panzer Corps 1.calmhatchery wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 12:29 pm Can we have at the same time ORiginal DLcs and also DLCs (PZC 1)? Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Hello,
I have brought the campaign to a preliminary end in Russia.
Fortunately, I was able to take Moscow very quickly, so I approached the emerging danger very aggressively at first.
This brought a good Staff of Russian military equipment.
Later the pressure increased and I withdrew a little further. In the end I was happy to have made it
The Russian planes, especially the Yak 3 and the Stormovik, are very, very hard to crack, they have a lot of experience? and the best armor.
The last mission made me angry. There is a complete German army and it is acting completely idiotic. The attacks are completely uncoordinated?
The artillery just standing around? The AI has to act differently here.
The Afrika Corps campaign is not finished yet?
It looks incomplete?
The Italian heroes have no legal names, no Briefing in Mission 3.
greetings

The latest patch caused a crash on the Reims scenario in GC1940. The scenario had to be redone and is corrected now in the download link on the first post. Thank you.

GC1942 has now been added to the campaign folder which you can download from the file sharing link in the first post. This may or may not need further updating for play balance so post your thoughts freely. Thank you.
