Yes, my Hungarian friend wants them, too. White and black armies then..

In anticipation of future DLCs (in particular, the Hundred Years War), a firefight of English longbowmen and French crossbowmen on the game engine. The reactive fire is active (like in P&S).

Speaking of the future DLCs, I'm looking forward to clashes between pikemen and knights in the foG2 system.

Burgundian Wars? It's not coming soon - it will most likely be the last DLC, based on the end date of the game.

Depends on what we're talking.
If it is in terms of DLCs, one I am looking forward to is about the Hundred Years' War.
If it is in terms of units, it'd be the handgunners and the cannons.
If it is in terms of clash, it is the pike vs knights. Currently playing P&S with FoG2 flank system (no cohesion drop on unengaged units), my gendarmes get a bit frustrated vs Pikes right away :-) I read the FoG Medieval manual and played a few Time Warp with pike vs knights. Seems interesting in FoG2:M with varied outcomes given the PoA+50 with a General, etc.

We were taking about DLCs

And this is not a typical clash for the Hundred Years War, IMHO.
I am reading A. Burne, The Crecy War about the first part of HYW. Durind this war period English longbowmen did about what I got in the video. The crossbow are too weak against infantry in the game now.

Based on this saying, when you talk about DLCs, you are not expecting the Hundred Years War. At least this is my opinion.

FoG II has the Naffatum unit for the gaznavid army, its basically a "grenadier" unit, i hope to see more gunpowder units in the future, maybe some arcaic hand cannons or grenadiers

I know the coming DLC is adding south asian armies but I will go a further back in history and try to add Gupta empire and Hephthalites they fought with a campaign from both of their perspective. While Hephthalites can be a traditional Steppe army adding elements from Sassanids like heavy cavalry, the Indian Gupta empire can have their usual archers and elephant while they also heavily adopted Horse archer to counter this threat.

Well uhh... it's your lucky day? Hephthalites are already included in the Legions Triumphant DLC for Field of Glory II

Still in FoG2: Ancients, can't the army list of the Indian 320-545 AD be used to play as the Indian Gupta empire ?

It is certainly intended for that. That is why it has the lancers.

I am extremely impatiently (and with a lot of passion) waiting for the digital adaptation of the former army list "Storm of arrows" which includes:

-100 YW French (and our English foe)
-Burgundy
-Swiss ! Yes, the mighty Swiss pikes!

There are other armies in Storm of arrows but my brain can't compute the rest and I think I can play 100 hours with these three ones without being bored.

Ngl would be nice to see Late Middle Ages (1250AD to 1500AD) in the next DLCs. With 100 Years War, Hussite Wars and Polish-Teutonic Order Wars with the mighty Battle of Grunwald for example.

So what is the situation with the new DLCs? FoG Ancients had a much faster rate of DLC release, this is a bit disappointing

When is the next one expected to drop? have there been any hints?

Also, I am trying to guess the complete list of DLCs we can expect, but I am not really up to date on what FoG system rulebooks there are available (I assume the digital edition will follow the boardgame template).

So if I remember correctly, we can expect the following DLCs:

- HYW DLC, obviously (not sure if this one also includes the second half of the 15th century, like the War of the Roses or the Burgundian wars)
- an eastern Europe centred DLC, focusing on the expansion of the Ottomans in the 14th and 15th century in the Balkans, which should also cover the Near East in the same timeframe

and that's it, can't really remember any other DLCs. There must be others, right? A more Asian centred one is a possibility, with Timurids and late period Mongols etc....
