Battle of Torà 1003 AC

Post by Lysimachos »

If someone is interested I’ve tried to recreate the battle of Torà, fought in 1003 AC between a host of Catalan Counts and an army of the Caliphate of Cordova, which was one of the last attempt of the Muslims in Spain to subdue the northern Christian outposts.
It works quite well and also the behaviour of the two armies in the field seems acceptable, given the orders issued via the AI data dialog box.
If someone wants to have a go and give a feedback it would be much appreciated!

Here is the link to download the scenario:

Thank you very much for your effort, Lysimachos!

I will try the scenario as soon as I find some time again to play the game.

The map looks very nice; I can see that you changed the light condition to dawn which adds a interesting atmosphere to the scene.

In fact the battle begins at dawn and develops during the morning, so the light is going to change after some turns ...
