A tough uphill battle as our armies faced off either side of a ravine bounded by rocky mountains to both sides. The stream at the floor of the ravine drained into a midge infested marsh. With not much room to manoeuvre it was down to who had the most missile troops and who had the most irritating skirmishers. It was pretty desperate stuff with my raw crossbows in hand to hand fighting at the end. An exciting battle that I was sad to see end.

Rob's cavalry got betrayed by a mounter archer who tried to escape a charge, but by doing so he totally unbalanced Rob's main cavalery line (plus got caught by another mounted spearman)
