Not initially no. I just wondered if there was a rule that drove gaining purchase points.

However, it might be worthwhile thinking about driving increased purchase points based on 'flags' or position from start point. This is some ways may reflect 'reality' in that more territory equals more resource, better supply routes, better 'lines of sight', more tactical choices etc.

On the hand, commander choices dictate success or failure.....

It should be possible to customize maps with certain tiles that give bonuses as you suggest. It just needs to be made clear to the player when the match starts. The only limit right now is 8VPs for the standard point counting mechanism (actually 2 bases + 5 points), but with code we can give bonuses for occupying tiles, buildings or other conditions.

One of my next steps was to add the British units and the units that have been appearing in the latest expansions.

Sorry, just found out that the 3 other maps are missing some bonuses for the Axis side. Will put up a new version soon with this fix and the changed script message one also.

Ok this is a very nasty bug. Somehow, and I'm not crazy Lecis units are reviving themselves! It's happened twice, and unless Leci is cheating (which I know he's not) this is impossible. The 1st time it was a Panzer III Flamm and the Second was a Panzer IVG. Im playing as Allies and frankly, when somehow units will just get up from the dead, I don't want to play anymore on that note :(

I cannot think how that is possible, can you tell me in which tiles approximately they are appearing? Was at the same spots they were destroyed? Maybe it is worth reporting it to tech support in case it is a MP bug with the new AddOrder function. Will try to put the new version tomorrow, lets see if I get more players and feedback, as this is the first time I know of this issue.

Yes they stay at the spots they died and next turn poof they're back from the dead. Hopefully this update nails that issue

IIRC, there is a known bug that can cause a destroyed unit to "come back to life". It is generally a random event from what I remember reading andI don't recall if it was fixed or not. You should be able to do a search and find something on it.

I can confirm that 1) I am not cheating (would not know how) and 2) this was highlighted to me. Unless I am not paying attention (which given elapsed time between MP games is not impossible) then I have not seen this when I am playing as the Allies and to be fair LandMarine would have highlighted such.

It might be worth checking that there isn't some order or logic which is executing differently on replay verses actual play. Keeping things in sync in MP can be a little fiddly! Your main enemy is GetShowSide() :)

Apologies LM - you did tell me, but (not keeping track of my games closely enough) I assumed I had purchased the other - but I guess part of the bug is that your move is actually different re results and outcome from my replay prior to my move.

Do we scrap both games? Might provide me an opportunity to attend a Battle Academy remedial class :oops: :cry: But remember, whichever God you worship, all Gods love a trier!

I have uploaded a new version, it will create a different folder so you can install it and finish the old MP games. While starting others with the new version, they should have the same name but the new one will end with v1.1

Leci ill set up a new game for us on the newer map. I'm going to set the points limit to about 80. Is that ok with you?

Hi both - achieved download, but could not install (using iPad). Deleted previous MP stuff, tried again same problem. Deleted SP stuff, attempted again but same problem.

I copied the .lst link (v1.1) from first page of thread.
