By the end, the Macedonian left had been annihilated, and the centre shattered, apart from the Agema holding on grimly in the corner. There had been a full-scale engagement on the Macedonian right, which was roughly a draw.

Rome had taken significant losses, but nonetheless, one would have thought the battle overall was a narrow Roman victory or a draw. But instead it was a comfortable Macedonian win. Methinks the scenario is expecting chain cohesion losses in the phalanx, and a pretty swift collapse. If the phalangites prove a bit more stubborn, Rome will have a hard time to come anywhere near to victory.
