Sliths stopped working on Twitch

Hi,

Since at least 2023-03-09 the Slith coins are no longer increasing for at least some Twitch Slitherine viewers that are reporting the problem in the Twitch chat.

I have been "stuck" at 2,360 Sliths for at least two days and I'm even subscribed to the channel.

I've tried logging out/in from Twitch and the streamelements website to no avail.

Wednesday was the last time I accumulated Sliths while watching streams.
I've restarted my PC and no effect was noticed.
I am a Prime subscriber for 11 months so far, and my sub doesn't need renewal for another 3 days.

The OP means Slith points in the store. They're not accumulating at all.

This issue is being investigated. It might not be us, but an issue with Stream Elements...

It appears that stream elements are broken again.
Today no sliths are accruing, previous days they would increase only slightly and not at the posted rate (5 per 10 minutes/15 per 10 minutes for subscribers), and only after logging out and back in numerous times.

Anyone else having these issuses?

I'm tiptoeing around this thread since last Thursday or Friday since I didn't see anyone else complaining, but, yes, since last week I am basically having the same issue.
Here and there I am getting the odd 10 or 15-ish sliths, but else not. I am subscribed (Prime this month). So if there hasn't been changed anything, something (SE, I guess) seems broken again.

I was reading something in my Twitch channel rules and there was something to the effect that you have to post in chat to be eligible to accumulate points.
I just tried it and I gained Sliths, so maybe that is the issue.
Previously this was not a requirement as I'd watched many, many streams without participating in chat yet still accrued Sliths, and conversely the last time streamelements was broken I had participated in chat, specifically to discuss the fact it was broken with the others experiencing the problem.

To be clear for anyone not familiar, the Slith coins (known under various names on other channels or generically as channel points) have always been adding up.
It's the Sliths used in the Slitherine store I'm referring to.

I had restarted my PC twice, logged out and logged back in numerous times to no avail.

If this was indeed a recent Twitch addition without any notification, it's total BS.
Not happy!

OK, no idea what the problem is, it gave me 30 points after 10 or 15 minutes and none since.

I've had the same thing. Getting some Sliths after chatting, so I thought the same as you I'd have to be active in chat a bit to get Sliths, but then it stopped again after getting a few, if I chatted or not. In the past I mostly lurked and chatted occasionally, but I always got Sliths.
Now today I am only lurking, but I get a few Sliths here and there. It's not steady like it used to be. Seems still broken.

Well, it was reported to a streamer Thursday & he duly reported to someone, then it worked Friday.
Saturday and today: nothing again.

Stream Elements are having intermittant issues and unfortunately, there is very little we can do about it .

You might be best served making noise at them, via their customer services.

Yesterday I watched for 15 minutes and got nothing, posted in chat and then Sliths started accumulating again, not sure if the post was the reason.

I have sent the streamelements people a message, though they don't exactly make it easy, I had to do a search for their actual site that contains a link to their support.
I didn't see any link to that site from any page associated with my account, the channel dashboards, etc.
A pretty poor setup IMO.

They got back to me and said the issue is fixed.

On a side note: I'm really looking forward to the Terminator stream today. I'm a big fan of the movies & show.
That and the new chariot racing game are looking really, really interesting I have 165 hours on Quadriga, so that one's going to be a must buy.
