Fall In 2010: October 30, 2010
I have been meaning (and forgetting) to post this for some time now. There will be FoG:R at Fall In.
Meet the FoGRs
Field of Glory Renaissance. A non-competetive event of three, three hour, sessions. Players bring starter list armies in 15mm or 25mm scale. Matchups will be made from opponents available. Play as many sessions as you like.
Saturday 9:00am to noon, 2:00-5:00, 7:00-10:00. GM will bring both a 25mm and a 15mm army.
GM: Mike Kelley

Would it be beyond the pale to ask for start lists specific's?
Most manufactor's have a break down.... Not trying to circumvent any sales, but am trying to determine if I want to go down this road (beyond my Poles/Turks)...
At the least the only armies I could do currently are the aforementioned Turks.
Anyone have the starter list for that they wouldn't mind sharing...

How many players are possible?
John,
We're still waiting for you to make the trek north of the Mason-Dixon line... I think you scared of actually playing people with a small amount of talent...
Its one of those chicken-egg questions. I've got the turks, but probably not enough for a army. I've got the poles, but none are painted due to not knowing the basic starter army configuration....
Just saying, with FoG:R being as new as it is, and lets face it, here in the US calling renaissance a fringe gaming period is probably giving it too much credit, I would have taken a different marketing strategy than ancients... I think they have released the basic starter armies to some of the miniature companies in order for them to sell/package their wares... One of the biggest hurdles Slitherine will face with sustained sales will be capturing the interest of the gamer not familiar with this period.
Madcam.
