You know it's a bad sign when 9 hexes into a scenario, you're about 9 hexes away from where you started. lol!

It's not all doom and gloom, the battlegroup on the East has punched through to the center of the map, but this western battlegroup is completely bogged down.

Just like in the actual battle, they are having trouble with those layered Soviet defenses. I like what I see. Looks very challenging. I see a hint of a fort at the left edge of the map. Behind a river. That will be an interesting challenge. Can't wait to Beta test!

Yes this is exactly what we were going for. We'll see how it plays out in practice though.

I guess the default 1943 core will be in better shape than mine after 1942.

I have the gut feeling 1943 will continue the epic field battle trend of 1942. Stalingrad was cool but Vitebsk and Tatsinskaya were just more my thing. Even if T. ended so badly for me.
