SS-GTPG is a merger of the SS Panzer Mod, SE Heer Mod and the GTPG campaign. This is a mutual effort to bring more fun to the Panzer Corps gameplay.
The vanilla e-file is upgraded with SS Elite units who have better stats than the regular Heer units. The SS and SE units have their own camo for better distinction during gameplay.
For every regular groundunit there is now a SS elite unit and a SE bonus unit.

nikivdd, I want to extend my gratitude and thanks to you and Mongo both! What you have done is bring the game even that much further forward to being something way beyond what most of us had envisioned. Sometimes on the forum I see new guys that are just starting with the game and find it so great and they really have no conception of what is available to bend, change, alter and modify so much in it that make it even better. Indeed to ALL that make the contributions I am extremely grateful to for giving their time and efforts. This game is like a WWI biplane compared to a P51 Mustang from last summer's release and now. I expect it will reach the level of a F22 fighter at some point.

The next great mod I hope to see is one to index, categorize and sort the icons and units. With the expansion of icons, colors, nations, etc. that type of mod will bring the game another leap forward. It is something I have seen discussed on the forum before.

The variety, the ability to let an imagination explore and bear fruit is what makes this game and your mod SS-GTPG so great. Mods like yours and Bebro's make a giant leap forward as do tools like Mr. Garnett's editor.

Is the link most of the way down in the first post the newest one? It seems to be dated February 12... The line, in red, near the top (SS-GTPG Grand Campaign v1.0) indicated an update or a move beyond beta but it is not an actionable link... Am I missing something here? Should I back away from my laced coffee?

For now there is only the beta available and the maps and scenario's are the same between GTPG and SS-GTPG, a kind of full playable demo or first impression as it were.
SS-GTPG has the extra SS units and a whole battery of SE units. Airbornemongo is busy building a fattened and updated equipment file for the v1.0.
The first "live" version will be already a leap forward. The second "live" version will be a huge step forward because i will rebuild all scenario's from scratch taking full advantage of that new equipment file.
Soon i will announce the scenario list for the grand campaigns and the campaign flowcharts.

This is my blueprint for the next months:
1) GTPG7
2) GTPG Grand Campaign v1.0 (all GTPG packs (1 to 7) combined with new scenario's)
3) SS-GTPG Grand Campaign v1.0
4) SS-GTPG Grand Campaign v2.0
5) First expansion for GTPG and SS-GTPG

Thanks for the roadmap. I am so stoked for all the scenrios you are bringing to the table... My flightcap is off to you Nikivdd and Airborne for adding such value to this awesome game! I appreciate the many hours you dedicate so that the rest m of us can blast our way through history. Hammering away in GTPG6 today... mouse in one hand, cheeseburger in another and Mountain Dew in the third. Ya, so? Chernobyl cloud drifted over Western US too.

As I sit here working on the equip file ,I'm sucking down some Warsteiner's

Ok,,,being's that Nico laid an outline for his work so will I

VPaulus was awesome enough to make new skins for all of the Inf. and towed guns for both the SS and SE. He also made new icons for the 10.5 cm,21 cm, 12.8 Flak/Pak as well as making new skins for the JU-52 (so both the SS and SE will have their own dedicated air transport). He also made SS and SE versions of the Me-109 series.

I will be adding the new skins to the SS Panzer Corps and Heer Total SE mods and the Elite Units Mod,but not the new icons...yet. VPaulus was also awesome enough to do the animations for the new icons (a couple still need to be done..sorry my oversight,but it will be remedied).

The SS & SE aircraft will only be put into SS-GTPG,due the fact that I wanted to keep the SS,SE, and Elite Units in line w/ the basic historical outline of PZC itself and there were no major formations of SS air. SS-GTPG is a what if ahistorical campaign so I feel comfortable adding SS and special elite Luftwaffe formations to it.

I will then add the new minor units into SS-GTPG,,but 1st the updates to the other mods will be finished 1st,so hyou can keep track of the progress by what gets released.
