Don't you get the link to Matrix, with the file attached in the OP (at the bottom) there?

Yes, the link is gone. The Matrix forum is very difficult for me to login and the "customer service" is a bunch of nit wits.
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

Hallo,

can you make the Editor Window biger so that the Unit Images vieed in full Size 296x296 pixel ? And can you add the View for the BigUnit 256x256 pixel from the Units? And finally add an Option to asign other Images to the specific Unit? :)
Then i miss in nations the new Nations from 1.10/AK. :oops:

This equpiment editor is way cool.

I was wondering, I own the old Pacific General, and now I own the cool Panzer Corps, is anyone trying to make a complete list of units?

It seems we have great artists and scenario builders/modders, but is anyone actually building a list of actual units in vanilla, and then all the units
that could be made of all the countries like Pacific General.

1400+ units in Pacific General, making the game awesome as you really can design so many games. Mods are great, but it would be great if
we had one cool unit file for all.

I am at least going to start doing a comparison to see what is in each.

we would need a patch that modifies naval combat rules to be able to correctly port the PacGen ship classes and carrier-borne planes.

the rest of the units would probably be good to go as-is. Some adjustments would be needed to get the statistics aligned with the PzC way of doing things though.

2 things.

1) for Class, it would be nice to see the names that represent the numbers.
2) Is there a way to dump Equipment Files to Excel?

I want to do this with all equipment files in all mods also so I can see what everyone has built
and compile all units. It would be cool to have all units for all mods and all vanilla so one can
build cool scenarios with a set of already developed units.

you can open the equipment files with excel anyway as they have been created with excel in the first place and then exported as text files...it will promt you with some questions about format..just click continue...
and the file will be converted automatically to spreadsheet...to save a working copy close spreadsheet and confirm...to save as excel file well save as excel...personally I find coding units with excel even quicker and comfortable than with an editor

mgarnett,

I believe I have found a small bug.

If I edit the captured SU 122 and save,it removes the primary trait from the unit.Also if I add the primary trait to the traits.txt file I get an unhandled exception when I open the equipment file with the editor.

Hi Mark,

Man, do I hope you are still around.

I just updated my Elite Units Mod w/ your awesome tool, but I hit a snag.

The camo-trait is not showing and the reconmovement trait is not active.

The reconmovment is selected, but the units are not using it.

Any help or advice is welcome.

One important question I couldn't find an answer for: how precisely do I add transports? I'm using H. Balck's DLC unit upgrade for my upcoming Polish Tanks campaign. The problem is I need to modify the pre-set transports for some units. For instance the 40 mm wz. 36 AA gun (Bofors) can be towed in-game by a truck and a C4P halftrack (HT3), but not the C2P artillery tractor (HT4) that was created specifically with towing the gun in mind.

So, I click on the 40 mm wz. 36 gun, right-click the "Usable transports" field, click Add, but the only available options are land, sea, rail, air, glider and heavypull. No "HT4" option whatsoever, and no option to add it by hand. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, another question. I have two maps set in 1938, yet all units seem to be available from September 1939, and when I change the dates, they revert back to the default. Is it hard-coded somehow?
