I know there are lots of posts re this but I assume I need to log my own call. Bought the Ipad version and it keeps kicking me out, going to black screen and then sending me back to my desktop. Please help.

I am not very happy to only find out that it needs interneet access to open is this a way for comps to make money charge player for WiFi access if they want to check something in the rules.

The iPad version does not need an internet connection to work - it does say it cannot update library when you open the app if there is no internet connection, however, hitting OK allows you to carry on and use the app (well that happens on mine anyway, check to see if it does the same for you).

Is the version 5, 5.1 or 5.1.1?

iOS 5.1 has very poor memory management, that is why 5.1.1 came out almost immediately.

Have you tried killing all the other running apps?

Sorry I have checked and my iPad isn't an iOS 5, it's iOS 6.0

I have tried running it with all other apps closed and the same thing happens.

Any idea when I can get resolution on this? Should I try and reload it (without repaying for it of course...).

Ipad3 iOS 6

I have spend a couple of days with this very odd e reader. It appears very unstable indeed. Crash after crash. Even when everything is shut down. Can we expect a fix soon????? I can live with the old fashioned e reader but constantly restarting is a bit much.

Or get our money back to spend on a paper version.

When do we have a new version that fix this bugs?
You should take in mind that we are not beta tester but customers, so it is important to us be informed.

Hi guys,

sorry you are having problems. Can you give us more info on exactly what you are doing to make it crash. In our tests on all types of iPad it does not crash so you must be doing something differently to us. We have already discovered one issue that might cause some of these problems but when we submit to Apple there can be a week delay before they review it and release it so we want to make sure we get as much fixed as possible before we resubmit.

If possible please update to iOS6 as iOS5 has very very bad memory management and could cause crashes. This is a free update but I think you need to synch it with your PC to allow it to download this.

Hi,
This is what is happening to me:
If I open the app and navigate page by page, it works almost ok. But if I open the app, I go to the first summary page and I make an attemp to navigate to the first appendix (for example) then it crashes (black screen and close the app). I tried closing all others apps and always is the same.

My experience is the same except even when I navigate page by page it crashes after about 10 pages

iPad 2, IOS 6

Have downloaded it, but the app goes black and falls over within about 10 seconds of opening the rules.

I would have preferred just an ePub version.

The app works fine on my iPad 3 with iOS 6 (perhaps a little bit slow...) but it always crashes when try to navegante to index or contents from a chapter cover or from any page using 'c' or 'i' options.

Analysing crash report, it seems to be some kind of problem with memory management.

Ian, if you think it should be useful for you, i'll send you some crash logs from my iPad.

Just purchased yesterday and having same freezing and crashing problems.
Basically renders it useless and impossible to use.

I am on an i-pad 2 with IOS 6

Hopefully a fix can be found soon!
