Buying the core game + Afrika

Greetings,

Buying the core game + Afrika. Any special installation steps I should do? Core first then Afrika etc.

That would probably be the best procedure. But since Afrika is a 'stand-alone' version, if you installed it first, that should be fine also.

Hi keif149,

If you have Panzer Corps Werhmacht and Afrika Korps, the first to install is Panzer Corps, otherwise it won't work.

When you have Panzer Corps, Afrika Korps must be installed as an expansion and not like a stand alone.

Got them both and I'll install them in that order after work tomorrow. I suppose install, run, then patch Panzer Core base game, then do Afrika.

I started a ladder for it at the War Gamers Club For Gentlemen.

You don't need to patch or run the core game before installing Afrika Korps. The installation of AK will patch the game automatically to version 1.10. After installing AK you should patch the game to newest version which is currently 1.11. Obviously starting or patching the core game after installation doesn't hurt but it gives you no advantage and just costs time.
