iandavidsmith (Syrian) 37/40 win
vrs
kmaher (Fatimid Eygptian) 35/35 loss

a real slug feat all the way from start to finish , after both sides cavalry
mostly destroyed each other i thought the Syrian poor infantry would rout but their
little legs ran away so fast that they mostly kept out from danger until i could get
enough points to rout the fatimid army. Great close game ,cheers Ian

Bagration - Seljuk Turks v. Batesmotel - Komnenan Byz 32/34 to 39/39 Turks win

The craven Turks cowered in a field and on a hill like girls before the Byz KNs and Varangians. Eventually, though, Chris had to enter the bad terrain where the combo of dismounted Ghilmans and Dailami was too much. A narrow game that was back and forth from the outset. Lots of fun. Thanks, Chris

Cheers -

fogman (turks) 10/36 vs bagration (turks) 35/34
the turks had the bad idea of dismounting some ghilman and dividing his forces. the turks defeated them in detail. turks everywhere.

fogman (syrians) 12/40 vs kmaher (turks) 37/36
the syrians maneuvered to gain a central position and used interior lines to beat back the turks.

fogman (fatimids) 21/36 vs iandavidsmith (turks) 36/34
the turk's hired lancers maneuvered too close and anarchied too often.

I have a few more games but there is no time left now. so that's it for me. thanks to everyone for participating. i'm off FoG for now. the Lords will return in happier times.

Battle result:

Crusaders (deeter) 38/39 vs. Turks (Bargation 1812) 35/34

A tough game that could have gone either way at the end. God was on the side of the Crusaders.

That was my final game from round 1 and I have a few underway from the replays. With the departure of fogman, is anyone doing replay games? If so, I'm open for challenges.
