Zzz???
The German mech unit has just railed into the fortress hex. Why does it have the Zzz over it?

Re: Zzz???
The owning player can place any unit on sentry by Right-clicking the hex.
For land units it does not affect the status.
We added this feature so that when relocating fighters the player can place them on sentry if they want.
If it is your opponent he is probably just messing with your mind.....

Re: Zzz???
I'm sure this is discussed elsewhere, but I was just playing around with 3.0 for the first time. I noticed the zzzz seems to be automatic in some cases after a unit has moved. I assume this is a design feature?
Re: Zzz???
Can you give me an example ? I have yet to encounter that it is automatic. The player has to set that.
In v3.00 we added that the player may place any unit on sentry by clicking the unit and then right clicking to set sentry on or off.
We also added sentry to subs to keep them hidden (no ambush) to surface ships except other subs.

Re: Zzz???
Maybe you're right-clicking on top of the unit after the move to deselect the unit, ncali.
You can right-click on units to change them to and from Zzz. Note that you can do that to and unit even after you've moved some other unit after moving the first unit. A very nice useful feature in 3.0 compared to the earlier versions IMO.

Yes, that's what I was doing! If you right-click on top of the unit after moving it, if zzzz's it. Thanks for the explanation._Augustus_ wrote:Maybe you're right-clicking on top of the unit after the move to deselect the unit, ncali.

Re: Zzz???
I sometimes use the 'Zzz' sentry indicator on land units as a marker to be a reminder when I need to do something with a unit on a following move.
