Durham Wargames Group - UK

Post by nikgaukroger »

Durham Wargames Group are a predominantly historical wargaming club (though Lord of the Rings games have featured recently) with interests in a huge range of periods and scales - Ancients to Modern; 2mm to 54mm.

We have our own permanent secure premises with nearly 300 square feet of table space which is available 24/7. Enough to cater for the most demanding gamer!......of course, having our own premises enables us to leave games in progress 'set up' to come back to another day - a big advantage.

The club's shared resources include an extensive collection of scenery in all scales (well, most scales) and a large library.

We have a pretty good split between competition players and others we've all gone to FOG with 6 or 7 going to be regular on the comp circuit and more casual players at the club.

Most periods are entertained, quite a bit own rules, even Fantasy warhammer etc
