Wot, no word from the Postmeister aka Zak .. for shame, I'm disappointed  Hope he's ok.
Oh yes and the units look good. It's a fine game, looking forward to your next.

Thanks glad you like it. Next after 1.07 will be a DLC for Germany at War (oops thats top secret :D ), but the new game is also growing constantly.

If you wait for 1.07 you will find the editor made a huge step in terms of usability.
Most importantly we reduced the need to type things and replaced it with selections e.g. indexes of units or names of events. This speeds up things a great deal.

Also there will be many new features in the game as well as in the editor. The new combat engineers will bring in new rules for example.

As a user in the Matrix Forum was interested in how the MechCorps look like in 3d, we added a screenshot of the new summer hill/mountain textures in 1.07 plus some of the new units:

The same scene zoomed out a bit and with counters:

Thanks for the news about the update (and for the continued support!)...I'm really looking forward to everything you have planned. :D

It's a shame about being put on the 'matrix bench forum' but I think the DLC will change that ....

All the BEST!

as i said in another thread it was kind of a logic turn, GaW was quite long on the display but new stuff is rolling out all the time so the space was filled by others. But the same logic should put us back as soon as the DLC is settled.

Great to see you guys like what you we plan. GaW will always have a place in our hearts and thus will get our attention which then results in its improvement. :)

Hi guys,

here is a new screenshot with the new Panzergrenadier units of v1.07 at the battle of Kursk (Zitadelle, southern sector) which is fought with historical OoB. Also you can see that tooltips now contain symbols to minimize texts for a better learning curve.

There are already plenty of tips in the game (let us know if you miss any), we just improved them. Icons works much better in this regards than the texts before. Easier to read, faster to learn. :)

Hi guys,

here is a new wip screenshot. You see rescaled & partly reworked German infantry with officers for the regular and elite units. All have unique compositions of soldiers (mgs, handgranates etc.) for more variety. Mountains also got some tweaks.

Having the main gun at that position was not the best design indeed. As the Soviets received 1152 in 1942/43 of them they made some difference. Some tank units in the Caucasus only could be kept in formidable shape because these shipments of the M3 Lee.
