Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hi Akkula........If you had seen some of the Soviet images I sent to Guille a couple of months ago when we started talking, you would be very happy I think (assuming he will make them and I am fairly certain he will given time and schedule to do it). There will be a FULL Soviet Juggernaut available to fight the German Entwicklung series we have available in custom units now. We can fight this war for years to come. Guille has the complete IS series in good imaging and many other awesome images. It will be like King Kong and Godzilla battling in Eastern Europe.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Indeed!. All these heavy tanks additions give more and more ideas to some future campaigns for my mod.
What a time to be alive!

Ok, guys... the new Soviet heavy champion... Objekt 704, a.k.a ISU-152_m1945 (a somewhat fictitious designation, but I think suitable for a production, "what if" model). Here is the base icon... It is to be completed with masks, estra files for customizations (auxiliary fuel tanks, flag, etc...) What do you think? Special thanks to Flak, who gave me some very good images to work with (I have several of them, but I am not sure if he gave me all of them, possibly T2_2112 sent me one or two also). Thanks to all the gang as always! I hope you like this very special unit...

Grande loco!, muy bueno la verdad, felicitaciones de parte de un rosarigasino .
Fantastic job Guille, as always. Beautiful beast, ready to knock out the Maus! , it will be added to the Soviet Storm mod AT ONCE.
In my opinion, the icon is ready for the next step: masks and accesories . Now the ISU family is starting to get some protagonism
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.
Akkula.

A very fitting new unit Guille. Great looking unit, certainly original and an excellent modding addition to any Soviet juggernaut for maximum destruction. A "super Zveroboy"

Thanks guys for the positive feedback... Later today y will upload the complete pack for this unit... Also, there would be a derivative with a long barreled 152 mm gun of this vehicle. Stay tuned!

Hehe, I am very Argentinian Guille . I am 31, I remember when I discover Panzer General back in 1995.... I was like a freak to my friends who preferred console games. When I realized of the existence of Panzer Corps in 2011 my joy was unlimited.
And now I am happy to be part of this great community and trying to contribute to this fantastic game universe.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Oh yes! It all started for me also when I discovered Panzer General back in the "golden 90's", but my first game was "X-Com Enemy Unknown", and PzGen was the second. I spent countless nights playing till I started to hear the birds singing the following morning, that was my signal to go to bed, that and also when my reserves of vodka (used to drink Stolichnaya in the good old times!) and orange juice ran out...
So, you started playing Panzar General at 11? Truly remarkable! I imagine how happy you were when PzCorps came out, the same as me!
Have you tried "Star General"? It was a game that was almost ignored by all, but I liked it very much also, specially because you could fight in space and on the planets surfaces using different units...
I am very glad to know about you and that you decided to give all of us joy by sharing your fantastic work!
Capo total!!

Hi folks.
Now that I have finished most of the new version of my mod, I decided to not to rush and spent some time improving the units I created (I want to deliver the quality possible). Here I reworked my ugly BT-42, I hope you find it nice:
Regards.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hi,
Yeah, this one is much better, many thanks! I especially like the second verison as it stands closer to the historical camouflage as can be seen here:
http://www.rochmmodel.com/gallery/AFV/BT-42.htm
However, it seems to have a brown tone as well and not so wide green lines so is it possible to share the base icon as well without the camo? It would be fun to play around with some other camos in DCS.

Hi Akkula, Those look great. I am on a big project of units with your name on it. I think you will like it. If not, that's OK too, I am having fun and learning at the same time. Will post an example on my thread.

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
After a considerable delay, here is a most complete ISU-152 m1945 pack... Inside the compressed file (too big to upload here, because of that you get an external link) yu will find:
- Base icons and masks for the ISU-152 m1945 and ISU-152-2 m1945 (with a long 152 mm gun) both in direct and indirect fire versions
- Extra templates to customize said vehicles: Machine gun (in AA position), Machine Gun in ground fire position), Auxiliary fuel tanks (green and rust colored), and the very good looking soviet flag. Be aware that those "extras" are not always possible to use toghether, for example, the flag will cover the externally mounte machine gun (in both versions)
- The customary pack vehicles with several camo schemes.
Here is the download link: https://www.sendspace.com/file/fb930q
I hope you like it!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Also, I wanted to include a Soviet captured unit, that I have not seen uploaded before, but of course, it was an easy one... And yet, here it is, a Soviet Hetzer... As I could see there were some of those thar were really captured by the Soviets and used in the late stages of the war in southern Europe. Enjoy!

Re: Guille's PzCorps Support Base - Multipurpose Icons and m
Hi Guille, Boy I was waiting on these units. You are always welcome to have my assistance and help however meager my talents may be. These with the others you are making will make Akkula's mod really something. I expect to see the mod make it to maps of the Pampas at some point since those Soviet Juggernauts will not be stopped.
I am working on a packet for Akkula also. I have made a number of modifications on the vanilla units and others in the game and manage to cobble together an ISU 152 out of the ISU 122. I also came up with some new twists on old units. I hope you will like them when I manage to finish and get them posted.
This M1945 ISU 1945 is a very impressive unit, not only the units you made, but it just looks impressive from its design and lines. Nothing clumsy looking about it, all muscle and beast.

Finally the long wait is over... and it really was worth it!. Amazing job Guille, beautiful SPG, it will serve well in the last month of my scenario . Thanks a million, as always, those extras are a very nice touch.... and that Hetzer was another unexpected surprise.
If I remember correctly are you Guille working on the SU/ISU families also?. If that is the case we are about to witness a titanic struggle between you and flak!, two top unit designer working in similar projects is a sure win for the icon users!
best regards.
