Re: BADCON 2016
Ok, the Chechens having looked at the opposition have decided they don't want to play and will leave all the western armies to fight it out, and once all the civil wars are fought will come in and pick up all the pieces

Now look, we all know Hannibal's low opinion of Tim, but to say playing him was a walkover is maybe a bit strongalasdair2204 wrote:to be fair I still remember that game, one of those I scraped a victory by default

Re: BADCON 2016
ALL PADDYS FAULT AS USUAL, we had a nice 22 battlegroup Western Sudanese sorted, which loves both Catholics and protestants, in an appropriate manner, ie it shoots them both to bits equally, but then he deserts me for her indoors, what can I say, couldn't be bothered to move something that big on my own, so Chechens it is, that said haven't played them for ages so will be fun, looking forward to it

Re: BADCON 2016
Well if the Hungarian-Tranyslvanian are the similar to the Hungarian Kuruc used by Wayne and Lynette at Usk they should be very good.

Re: BADCON 2016
I confess to picking an army where a substantial piece could be run by Isabel at her second competition with no interference from me.
I had picked out something different to the final choice but it would have required a cunning plan and so was unsuitable. Straight forward is best at the moment. Fancy stuff can come later.
I had expected to see Danes, Samurai and possibly something from the Far East.
If someone clever fancies designing Isabel an army for Rollcall I would not take offence!!
I want her to have fun and get a few winning draws while she builds up her repertoire of cunning stratagems: copied from you lot like as not.
We are both looking forward to the weekend and watching the "cunning plans" unfold.
Stephen

Sounds like a good mix. Would appreciate the list if you do not mind.alasdair2204 wrote:Hi stephen

I would like her to try and put a list together based on your pointers and then compare it with your actual list.
Never too soon to start learning all the skills and to learn from the best.
Thanks

Re: BADCON 2016
That sounds mighty familiar. I think I may have used that. Needs to be the Swabian option to get the Elite spearmen.
Must admit surprised at 5 Huggies given the 4th general has to be an ally. Could never get a list I was happy with given that restriction.
Have a good tourney.
cheers
Jim

Any idea, please, on when we can see a final table?
"No plan survives the first contact with the dice."
