Is something else planed after US Corps and V1.26?
I'm mainly asking because I want to offer my mods based on the last version. For this I need to know if the actual version is the last one.

I do mean that I hope that US Corps is NOT the last one ! There is room for an expanded Balkans and Greek campaign or expanded Russian campaigns.

I agree. I think there is room for some alternate campaigns & I'd welcome them.

You mean beside Panzer Corps: Soviet Corps that was released in Feb?simcc wrote:I think soviet GC might be next I hope
Can you resist Operation Barbarossa with defensive actions such as at Bialystock-Minsk and Moscow before counter-striking to relieve and encircle Stalingrad and start the reclaiming of Soviet soil? Panzer Corps: Soviet Corps is an expansion for existing Panzer Corps owners and a full stand-alone for new players.

I mean grand campaign soviet corps. Grand campaign is the longer version of the vanila campaign and you get to train and love your unit from start.

There won't be any major patches, so if you offer for 1.26 then if 1.27 rolls around then you won't have to do anything.

Soviets were victorious in WW2 (with some help of allies) and most of history and turn-the-tide battles of the whole war been fought Germans vs Soviets. It is the most important faction in the whole theme so making a GC for Soviets should be #1 priority IMHO instead of US or any other.
Sadly BNC is right as devs mentioned that there will be no more major updates to the game. Lets hope we will see PC2 one day.

Yes, I would prefer Panzer Corps 2 with the graphic from Order of Battle!Sartarius1 wrote:Lets hope we will see PC2 one day.

I think there would be space for a soviet grand campaign. There is still much battles left which are not that heavily featured in existing Panzer Corps.

I'm still voting for a Japanese Campaign focusing on the Army operations. There's mod that already proved this can be done without doing massiv naval combat overhaul.

Would LOVE a Japanese campaign!! That part is rather neglected, and there is a lot of history (rather sad too) about that side of the world then.

Let's finish the content we have first I'm sure someone will come up with a project at some point. The designers need a break too. I personally would love to see a Sealion style DLC for Operation Weserübung / Norway. I'm reading a book about it and it was a lot more complex and drawn out. ANd especially around Narvik it wasn't all that one sides either. Oh well.

Korea!
The initial North Korean offensive, defending the Pusan, Inchon landings, Chosin reservoir, do you cross the Yalu River?
Think of how many nationalities you could have on the UN side.

Re: Is something else planed after US Corps and V1.26?
Which might be the problem. You'd need all kinds of new units. The previous campaigns could largely be done with existing units + a few additional ones. Also.. you'd need Korean units and eventually Chinese units. Those two countries would need to be added. Maybe the Pacific Theater with the japanese army MIGHT be better? Since we already added Japan and they have some early and late units already? It's kind of a shame to add them and then not use them for more than the very few scenarios in soviet corps. Not sure. I mean the Japanese mainly faught the russians, we already have those, and later the Americans and British, we have those too. Maybe some french also I'm not sure. We have those too. Then of course the chinese. These could be added and then later used in a Korean campaign.. Not sure if that's a viable timeline. But I really think Panzer Corps should start looking at the pacific. Europe and north africa are starting to be a bit boring. No sense in letting us play the same battles over and over again from a different side. Especially now that we had the US Grand Campaign. I agree a Soviet Grand campaign MIGHT be interesting, especially if it focuses a bit more on the winter war and on other stuff like the Stalingrad campaign, maybe some stuff around Leningrad, tries to liberate the city early or something.. stuff like that. But going east would still be a bit more interesting. Also new terrain could be introduced here and the naval combat could be improved a tiny bit. I don't think huge adjustments need to be made to make the naval stuff interesting enough for the pacific war to work if the main focus is on the land units.rilnator wrote:Korea!

I know that Order of Battle is out there...but it's just not a good game. I say do a Pacific version of Panzer Corps...with ships as core units! That would be an incredible game!
