Thanks Glenghsican! I'm sure you'll do well but we can certainly be fluid if someone wants to volunteer.
Your efforts will certainly be appreciated regardless of the outcome.
In fact, thanks to everyone for playing...there may be some bumps along the way but I'm sure we'll have fun.

Instant promotion to General! Have a look at the first post in the thread to get the required files and info. Then post back here on what side you would like to be on and the Field Marshal for that side will let you know what the next battle is.skyrider wrote:I can handle Private 1st Class...now how exactly does this work...that's why I'm a private.....
We haven't started quite yet but the German Field Marshal is no doubt getting his plans in order so you'll want to let us know soon!

It's good to be back, but I'm not prepared to take the role as FM. I'm sure you will do a great job as FMglenghiscan wrote:I will accept the role untill a more suitable candidate comes along . Re: B44 for BA2 - Multiplayer Campaign League
Just about to kick the start off here but I had a sober second look at the map and felt it a little too ambitious...so, for our first go here at least, I've simplified it a bit. Please review when you get a chance.
Let me know if there are any questions or concerns...
Edit; I've added (reserve) status players to the forces list on the main thread. These players will be overflow fights that the FM can assign to any of the coming battles. They will fight but their battles won't count toward the outcome. This will give the FM a good idea of the capabilities of the Generals and, while we have odd numbers, allow the FM to jockey their Generals at each stage (ie. Move an active General to reserve and bring out of reserve).
Edit 2; Alternatively, the Axis FM can assign the reserve Gen. to any specific battle and can double down on his chances to win at that battle (only one win is needed on any battle to continue along the Campaign Path).
Not sure how else to handle the odd numbers....suggestions welcome.

Preferably Axis but I'm game for whichever, just more effective as an Axis player. And definitely not qualified to run the whole operation haha.Brummbar44 wrote:Absolutely! Re: B44 for BA2 - Multiplayer Campaign League
Please note; New Army List mp folder needs to be downloaded before we get started.
EDIT; Be sure to delete your old one first then download this one. You can find the old version in My Games > BA2 > Multiplayer > B44BA2_1941 (delete this whole folder). Once deleted, copy the link from the first thread, load BA2 and select Campaigns. Then select the folder Icon and then the toolbox...click the plus sign to paste the link then download.
I've discovered a handy Army List sheet in the Master Squads and did some balancing to the forces.
I've also amended the Campaign Information to account for the new maps simplified path (giving battles more time to play out, see Timeline) so please check that out when you get a chance.
Invasion is imminent!

Re: B44 for BA2 - Multiplayer Campaign League
Just a quick note on how we'll handle the 'extra' Generals. If there is an even number of players on both sides, the Axis FM assigns Generals for secondary attacks in battles along the path. If either the primary or the secondary attack win there, the battle is considered a win.
If there are enough players to have a tertiary attack (three attacks for the same battle) then the majority outcome of win or loss of the three is what the ultimate outcome is.
Any Generals who aren't matched in numbers by the other side are in Resereve and will have to sit out the round unless a match up comes along. Reserve Generals only sit out one round and must be rotated in to the next round.
Hope that makes sense but I think it's the best way to keep as many players involved as possible.
So not the German FM needs to decide where to throw me in for a secondary attack...then the Soviet FM makes his matches.
Again, hope this all makes sense and if anyone sees a problem please let me know (I might be overlooking something).
