And please note; these forces are from the B44BA2_1941 campaign, we will not be using any of the pre-made 1941 units that came standard (you might easily confuse the Soviet Tank Div. with the Sov. Armd. Div which is the one to use).

Thanks Glenghiscan. For this first battle all of the Soviet units are Line Div. so no need to allocate anything there. I'll reflect your command choices on the front page and the map.

Axis Generals, you can now initiate the challenges.

Refer to the Campaign Info book for details but in short, determine from the map the Map Type (Urban, Farm or Wilderness) and the Openness rating.

Remember to select the division you were given (so in my case, I'd choose the Ger. Infantry Div. 41) and your opponents div (Sov. Line Div. 41)

All passwords should be - barb

We have three weeks time to complete this first Skirmish. It wouldn't hurt to pm your opponent and determine how frequently they can play...if you have time, feel free to do a large battle. After next Sunday (July 24th) only Medium battles should be selected.

Have a look through the Campaign guide book and I've already posted my Skirmish so you can see the settings there too.

Quick update...in the off chance that the Soviets manage to win on the initial battle I have added the Reich Defence rule to the Campaign Info book.

First turn of game says scripts are different. Any ideas why?

I also got script mismatch during my deployment phase. will post what happens on actual first turn.

My guess is you got two different versions of the army list file. I'm using my iPad and had to remove and reinstall BA2 when I updated the file.

I got a mismatch too?! I'll look into it...we're a few turns in and everything looks right that I can tell...so you should all be good to carry on but I'll investigate regardless. Will report back.
