I chatted with him about a year ago on PM. As Rob stated, he had gone away for his work. He thought he might be able to start playing again...but I never heard from him after that.

Tunis tournament was indeed a very good one.

OK guys. Help!!! My opponent MacD2013 no longer appears on the forum for me. Only me , how did this happen. I can find his posts with a search engine but they seem to be on my ignore list. How on earth did they get there and how do I un-ignore him????

Cavehobbit can try but I found it can be buggy if the Soviets set up (let me know if you guys do try that).

Otherwise your set up would be
Axis Attack - Wilderness - Openness 80
SS Div. 41 vs. Sov. Line Div. 41

I would suggest no more than a Medium battle in size and forces.

MacD you have the turn. I guess I must have turned on the foe button for you. I have changed that status. I don't think that has any effect on the game it still showed you having the turn

My apologies for the Soviet forces, they looked better on paper (that KV-2 isn't cheap!). The other Division types will fare better I'm sure.

EDIT: So I've run some tests and the Soviet Line Div. don't seem to be getting the number of units that I thought they would. For example, the minimum Militia should be 5 with a maximum of 8 but in a Medium force they only get 1 with an option to buy 1?! Again, this should be ok moving forward with the rest of the divisions but this took me by surprise...looking into it.

How goes the war?

Just wanted to get an update on the battles...eager to update the map.

For the next round, they will all be Meeting Engagement (Soviets, you'll have a much better chance in that one...make it count!).

And FM's you'll be able to switch around Generals, nobody is stuck in any given sector or against the same opponent...in fact, FM's I encourage you to get some feedback from your Generals on their opponents strengths/weaknesses.

Any suggestions/comments are always welcome.

In the Center, Random's SS force is rolling over my poor defenders without much trouble. The battle will be over within one or two turns. I've managed to kill some of his SS infantry, but lacking enough AT there's not much for me to do...
