Description: The goal of Operation Detachment was to capture the two working airfields and an additional under construction to provide a staging area for attacks on the Japanese main islands. This battle comprised some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting in the Pacific. After the heavy losses incurred in the battle, the strategic value of the island became controversial as it was useless both to the US Army as a staging base and the US Navy as a fleet base.

Description: Borneo, May 1st - June 21st 1945 Operation Oboe One was the first stage in the Borneo campaign. It began with an amphibious landing by Australian forces. While the battle ended with success for the Allied forces, this victory is generally regarded has having not justified its cost.

Description: Soltsy: Counterattack near Soltsy (14—18 july, 1941) – one of the first successful counterattacks against the German troops attacking Leningrad, launching by Soviet troops near the town of Soltsy. Vyborg: The scenario is adaptation of historical defensive attack of Soviet troops on the Karelian Isthmus in summer, 1944 (10 June — 20 June).

Description: The Japanese invasion of Malaya was the first major battle of the Pacific War, it began a couple of hours before the attack on Pearl Harbor.The invasion plan included landing troops at Pattani and Songkhla on Thailand's east coast in addition to the landings on Malaya's northeast coast.The forces in Thailand were ordered to push through to the west coast and then invade Malaya from the northwest.The troops at Kota Bharu would attack down the east coast and into the Malayan interior.

Description: The Japanese have transferred more reinforcements to Malaya.
Their favourite tactic of outflanking the Allies through the jungle or by small seaborne invasions have pushed the Allies further south. The Japanese use of bicycles to keep the momentum has given the campaign the nickname 'The Bicycle Blitzkrieg'.

Description: July-August 1941, Approaches to Tallinn, Estonia
Army Group North is advancing rapidly on Leningrad but its rapid advance has left a large pocket of Russian forces in Northern Estonia. With the Baltic Fleet moored in Tallinn's harbour, and forces needed to defend Leningrad, the Russians have created strong defensive lines to protect the evacuation of men and material. German Command has ordered the 18th Army to contain and crush this enclave.
