In a development to shake the ancient world to its core the Bithynians are neck and neck late into the battle with Pontus on about 45% each....nailbiting stuff...I remain confident however that they will revert to type once the drugs I have put into their gruel wears off...

Just as the Bithynian authorities were in complete chaos (much like their so called miltary) over the prospect of the Bithynians breaking centuries of tradition and actually winning a battle, the military promptly disintegrated so allowing the citizenry to be reassured that the old certainties like the rising of the sun and the incompetence of their Army remained in place.

Congratulations to Mike who deserved the win . Final figures will need to come from him but were inprobably close. ☺

Pontic vs Bithynian ends in a total bloodbath but the Pontics miraculously hold the field. Final score was 57-60 in favour of the Pontus army.

Great game vs Devoncop though both sides did blunder at times.

Thanks to Aryman for our nice game. For sure the points margin does not show the reality. It was a close battle until his warriors start to push our thyreophoroi. Then it was an easy job for our second line. Thanks again.

After a fierce battle the Romans defeated a fierce Galatian army overwhelming their left flank, where cavalry couldn't stop legionaries and elephants working together.
63% to 37% is the final result, which testifies the toughness of the encounter.

I can now also report that the Pontic army has defeated the Seleucid invaders by a score of 12-43

In an event as predicable as the sun rising in the East the Pergamene forces expertly marshalled crushed an army of juvenile one armed schoolchildren who had somehow aquired Bithynian Army uniforms.

It was universally agreed by onlookers that the schoolchildren's performance in losing 48% to 13% imitated that of the real Bithynian Army in every way...

I am afraid the lover of Afrodite has nothing to do with our defeat. It was the masterfully command of the Pontic general blend with some very poor and idiot moves from our general. A well deserved victory Mike. Congratulations.
